This Privacy Policy explains how Coin handles information. Coin is operated by Tim Jones, 3564 Wesley Chapel Rd, Suite E-130, Decatur, GA 30034, USA (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected].
Information we collect
- Intuit account details you approve when connecting: your name, email address and QuickBooks company ID.
- QuickBooks Online data Coin needs to work: customers, invoices, payments, expenses, vendors, items and projects.
- Connection credentials: the OAuth access and refresh tokens Intuit issues. We never receive your Intuit password.
- Technical logs: IP address, browser type, request times and errors, kept for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
Only to provide Coin to you: syncing records between QuickBooks Online and your business tools, keeping the connection working, supporting you, securing the service and meeting legal obligations. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that host or run Coin for us under confidentiality obligations, when you direct us to, or when required by law. Your data goes back to Intuit only as the updates you ask Coin to make in QuickBooks.
Storage and security
Data is stored on servers in the United States. Connections use TLS, OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest, and access to systems is limited to people who need it to run Coin.
Retention and deletion
We keep QuickBooks data only while Coin is connected and needed for the service. When you disconnect Coin, we delete your OAuth tokens immediately and your QuickBooks data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it. Logs are kept up to 90 days. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing us.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your information, and you can revoke Coin’s access in QuickBooks Online at any time. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights; we honor them on request.
Children
Coin is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
We will post updates here with a new date. Material changes will be notified to connected users by email.
